Meet the Team

We're proud to introduce the latest addition to the Stark / Raving team, Janelle Cox, who's joining on as our Senior Copywriter. Janelle is a professional storyteller who aspires to help brands and businesses find the right words to tell their untold truths and stories. She is solution-oriented, combining her content strategy expertise with digital and social media savvy to aid in all aspects of the creative marketing process: conceptualization, project development, execution, and data analysis.

Janelle has worked with many B2B, B2C, and SaaS organizations; most notably, Janelle worked for The Wanderlust Group, an outdoor tech company that builds marketplaces and technology platforms to connect outdoor adventurers with new destinations, and Christopher Kimball's Milk Street, a multimedia instructional food preparation organization created by Christopher Kimball, founder of America's Test Kitchen and Cook's Illustrated.

JC: Lowell, MA

S/R: What is your role at Stark / Raving?
JC: I’m the new Senior Copywriter.

S/R: Do you have any pets?
JC: Yes, a bernedoodle we call Bentley Benjamin Renaldo Cox (aka Bennie or Beethoven), and a beta fish, Sir Finnland.

S/R: What was the last book you read?
JC: Eat Your Heart Out by Kelly Devos

S/R: Favorite place you have visited?
JC: Barcelona

S/R: What food can’t you have enough of?
JC: Sushi or cupcakes

S/R: How do you take your coffee/tea?
JC: Café Verona Dark Roast with Caramel Macchiato Creamer

S/R: If you could have superpowers for one day, what power would you choose?
JC: Super Sonic Screams

JC: I have my Cosmetologist license.

JC: Wine, pink or white, never red.

JC: Summer

JC: Right now, it’s brown.

JC: I’m not into bands, but my favorite artist is Lucky Daye and I love the song, Fever.

S/R: What is something that will never be in your recipe book?
JC: Desserts with fruit fillings.

S/R: What is your favorite holiday?
JC: Halloween

S/R: Why did you pursue a career in writing?
JC: I’ve always loved reading and writing as a kid so it was only natural that I figured out a way to make money doing it.

S/R: What would you do if you weren’t a copywriter?
JC: Either a recipe developer or a YA Fiction Novelist.

S/R: Favorite movie?
JC: The limit does not exist.

S/R: If your life was a reality tv show, what would it be called?
JC: Not sure, but it would be sponsored by tequila and champagne.
