The Connecticut Green Bank (CTGB) is the nation’s first green bank. Established by the Connecticut General Assembly in July 2011, the Connecticut Green Bank supports the Governor’s and Legislature’s energy strategy to achieve cleaner, less expensive, and more reliable sources of energy while creating jobs and supporting local economic development. Their mission is to confront climate change and provide all of society a healthier and more prosperous future by increasing and accelerating the flow of private capital into markets that energize the green economy.
The brand architecture for Connecticut Green Bank was comprised of a master brand and multiple sub-brands, or business units, each with distinct product / service offerings, target audiences and goals. In collaboration with thier internal marketing group, the Stark / Raving team developed detailed brand guidelines that seamlessly dovetailed with a multi-channel media strategy that elevated their brand among residents, investors, and contractors across Connecticut.
